@d d You obviously have no firearm training or experience, which is fair enough most people wouldn’t. At 50 metres a pistol is virtually ineffective even if you were an above average shot. If there was a group of police all firing then they may have achieved something, however they were vastly outgunned by rifles, and not knowing what type they had can be accurate and effective out to 600 metres depending on the calibre and sights.

Nobody fled the scene. One officer who was wounded moved back beyond weapon range and out of site the other stayed on site and relayed information via mobile phone.

@d d Without knowing the exact circumstances a single shot at distance in poor light conditions is a remarkable feat of marksmanship, this would be the exception not the rule. Snipers in Afghanistan were regularly hitting targets at well over a 1000 metres, does that mean your average Joe could do that? Certainly not. Also I wasn’t meaning to be condescending only informative, no need to take it personally. I’m hardly Rambo but have used a wide variety of weapons over a long period. Not knowing the detail, but I would suggest your average Queensland copper might fit off a couple of mags a year in practice. You need to fire 20000 rds a year to be a really good shot.

No conspiracy It wasn't a diplomatic position it was a NSW trade position and yes I agree with you it was very poorly managed. There was an enquiry and Amy Brown was sacked from her job as head of investment NSW. No conspiracy. What blocking of freedom of speech? What crimes against humanity?

@stewiejonza1363 I doubt there isn’t a jab I haven’t had. I was in the military so vaccination was always part of any deployment. Never phased me. Vaccination technology has been around since the late 18th century and has contributed to the increased average lifespan of everyone on the planet.

@nigelbiddell7939 So some facts. Bill Shorten was accused by a women of being raped by him in the mid 80s when she was 16 and he was 18 at a school camp. The police investigation concluded there was insufficient evidence to proceed with charges. As you can imagine the difficulties in investigating a crime that took place over 30 years ago this result is not unsurprising. Would I let Bill Shorten alone with anybody close to me, not on my life. I suspect my feeling was amplified by the general public and Shorten remained deeply unpopular with the voting public as proven by the two election losses he led the Labor party to in opposition. In my opinion he should not be allowed a public position, but here is the big but,our society places such a low priority on the sexual assault of women are you surprised by what men get away with? Next you would have to provide the evidence that all politicians are corrupt, otherwise that is just a sweeping generalisation, that is meaningless and lacks any substance. In summary Bill Shorten while having done some wonderful work in supporting the disability community should not be in a position of power, but that's just my opinion.

There are numerous approved anti-viral drugs for Covid19 ie Remdesivir, Paxlovid, Lagevrio, casirivimab, and imdevimab are all examples. Blood clots were a known risk with the AZ vaccine and although devastating are extremely rare. I took the AZ vaccine after weighing up the risks, my free choice. No conspiracy. If you are suggesting the finest immunologists, medical professionals, and doctors have all conspired to give false information to governments all around the world then that is the definition of conspiracy theory nutter. The Federal and state governments worked as best they could to reduce the effects of a devastating virus. Did they do it perfectly, no, mistakes were made, go figure. Covid19 has killed over 6.6 million people worldwide and continues to. It has contributed to the average life span in the US going backwards for the first time since WWII. Over 13 billion vaccine doses have been given out and nobody is denying there are side effects.

@nigelbiddell7939 Firstly you have to understand that youtube is not a public forum. It is a privately owned business that provides a service or lack of service. They can censor what they like. If you don't like it take your business elsewhere. It is not the government censoring you. I was in the military for 35 years, so I too enjoy a good assault rifle. I have no problem with people owning weapons, only what type and how many.
