  2. Since industrialisation. CO2 in ppm has significantly increased in the atmosphere. It has been measured. CO2 is a known greenhouse gas along with some others and is relatively persistent in the atmosphere and we have known since about 1865 how these gases trap heat. The atmosphere has warmed above what would have normally been expected, again it has been measured and the sea level has also risen as it too has warmed again this has been observed and measured. If you wish I can point you too numerous published peer reviewed scientific papers that confirm this.
