  13. The flight decks of the Canberra class LHD are not sufficiently hardened for VTSOL aircraft, nor does it have the required hanger space of fuel tanks to support F35. What you are asking is impossible.

  14. @ Well that isn’t technically correct. Firstly the RAAF have a Strike capability of F18 F and G models. Secondly we have air refuelling capability with our KC-30As. Our ANZACs are still very capable warships with Harpoon and ESSM. Our LHDs are extremely capable and enable Australia to project force anywhere within our region. The ADF is a very capable force, but obviously can’t compete with the superpowers, what more do you expect? Nucs?
