Constitutional recognition and a voice to parliament has nothing to do with race it is about original ownership as per English law but obviously what to make it about race. I wonder why?

Constitutional recognition and a voice to parliament have got absolutely nothing to do with race. It is simply acknowledging who owned the land first as per English common law.

Yes representing their electorate or state as in the case of Thorpe, you don’t know much about how our democracy works do you.

@positivepawpaw7564 Wild conspiracy theories. What is your evidence?
1
@stephanmaric6796 what an outrageous slur. I have a thick set of hair thankyou. Jokes aside what did I say that was factually wrong?
1
@stephanmaric6796 You are not much for reading are you. Danielle called her indigenous, I didn't. I said she represents the state in which she was elected. So it is you who is wrong. Try again.

@info88w11 Aside from the clearly bigoted comment and possibly racist overtones of your comment. You are factually just wrong. The indigenous community were explicitly denied any input into our constitution. They were not consulted or allowed to vote on it or federation. This is just factual non disputed history.

And your evidence of this claim is?
1
@positivepawpaw7564 Factually incorrect. Archaeological evidence from the Madjedbebe area suggests occupation from 65000 + or - 5000 years. Provide the evidence there was a humanoid species here before then.
1
@ArthurHugo Thankyou, you have just 100% supported my argument for a change to the constitution. You still failed to provide any evidence of humaniod occupation before the Aboriginal.
1
MPs in the Australian parliament represent their state or electorate, nothing else.
1
@ArthurHugo what evidence do you have of humans in Australia before Aboriginals.
1
@stephanmaric6796 That's easy, there is zero evidence of any human or other humaniod species inhabiting Australia before the Aboriginals. If you have some present it. DNA evidence of Denoisovans is not proof they inhabited the Australian mainland.
1
@stephanmaric6796 Right so you have no evidence other than childish repetitive attempted personal slurs. Any points you have appear to be vacuous.
1
@stephanmaric6796 There is numerous documented accounts of interactions between European expeditions and aboriginal people dating back to the 17th century. There is archaeological evidence of aboriginal occupation in the Kimberley region back approximately 65000 years. Did you learn any Australian history at school.
