  1. The real rate is 7% the underlying rate is related to market forces and is reducing rapidly as the supply chain/demand/supply issues caused by the pandemic recede.

  4.  @LGB-FJB  So you are stating a three year figure which at 7% annually (the CPI figure) is about 20%, so we are both correct. Inflation has been a worldwide problem it is not directly related to any one particular government or nation’s monetary or fiscal policy.
