  3. You clearly have no understanding of modern naval warfare and tactics nor any knowledge of the complexities of anti submarine warfare. I can guide you to some literature if you like that will expand your knowledge and prevent you from further embarrassing comments.

  4. @rosielynmurphy892  CPU, Central Processing Unit? The RAN is not going to disclose it knows if their is a submarine there or not. If we did, then the Chinese would know immediately that we can detect their subs (hint: we don't want the Chinese to know that we can detect their submarines). Publicly declaring that a submarines is there also let's the Chinese know that we probably have a sub there, in which case they may try and find it. I can guarantee you there is a US SSN shadowing the Chinese task group. This is a game of cat and mouse. Read "Hunt for the Red October" it is a work of fiction but much of the technical aspects of the book have been well researched. It will educate a layperson such as yourself in the art of undersea warfare.

So new tanks, new self propelled artillery, new rocket artillery, new attack helicopters, the latest technology in personal body armour and load carrying equipment, new rifles, new IFVs, new armoured reconnaissance vehicles. What are you talking about? And I have only mentioned the Army equipment, which I can go into detail with you if you want, then we can move onto the new aircraft and ships.
