  2. Irrelevant comment. No formal request was made by the US government and no country in under threat. This is a financial decision. Shipping can easily re route around South Africa. It just costs money.

  3.  @Nathan-ry3yu  Factually incorrect. Warships don’t need anti drone weapons to deploy at all, you simply assume some risk. Both our frigates and destroyers have SAMs. Finally if shipping wants to be safe then re route around South Africa. Commercial shipping is assuming risk, so can ADF warships.
