  2.  @daniellebcooper7160  It is historical fact that multiple US administrations (Democrat and Republican) deliberately misled the public about the Vietnam War in almost every facet. Australia blindly and complicity went along for the ride. This was all revealed in official US documents released in 2011. Titled Report of the Office of the Secretary of Defence Vietnam Task Force. The entire war was a perfect example of how not to conduct public policy. This is not to denigrate the service people, many of whom I meet in my first years in the Army. They sacrificed greatly, but unfortunately for nothing. China was not contained.
