@rhizyn850 You would have to provide evidence of any of that claim before I could take any of it seriously.

@CC-uq4hu You just used the bible to prove the bible. That is fallacious nonsense called circular reasoning.
2
@goldenautumn3073 Which god? And do you have any evidence it exists or that Australia is a Christian country? The last census in Australia had Christians in minority at 40%.
2
That is a convention and can be stopped by a vote on the floor.
2
We recently had a Christian fundamentalist PM, Kevin Rudd was open about his faith, why is Paymen different?
2
@albertjoseph9684 A factually incorrect statement that is is easily falsified. Verses in Exodus and Leviticus give clear and explicit instructions on how to get your slaves and how to manage them. It describes chattel slavery exactly like it wad practiceed in the US and makes specific rules that advocated for the Trans Atlantic slave trade. Have you ever read the bible?
2
So the % of Muslims in the UK is currently 6.5%. With 650 seat in the British parliament that works out at approximately 42 seats. At only 5 seats Muslims are significantly under represented. So I literally have not got a clue as to the sheer stupidity of your comment.
2
Hilarious, can I recommend a career in stand up comedy, or let’s go the other way and organise a mental health assessment.
2
No factually incorrect. At the 2021 census total Christian faiths was only 40%.
1
Factually incorrect. A Senator is on $211250 plus some electoral and travelling allowances. You have doubled her salary why?
1
@jameswilson7964 Nope. Research completed you were wrong. Current salary as quoted from the parliament website, add $32000 in electoral allowance and you are still wrong.
1
@jameswilson7964 Nope you we’re just wrong and had grossly inflated a senators salary even with allowances. Why you did that I haven’t got a clue.
1
@jameswilson7964 No you were just factually wrong on the data you provided. Simple.
1
Yep all 3.2% of the population that are Muslims in Australia are going to takeover. Sounds utterly ridiculous to me.
1
What a wonderfully bigoted comment “them”. Which KKK clan do you belong to?
1
Politicians from all sides regularly flip allegiance. Craig Kelly did it with the Libs, Cory Bernardi with the Nats and that dingbat from One Notion Frasier Anning.
1
@dayamitrasaraswati6276 You would have to explain what Payman did that makes you think she changed allegiance to her country.
1
@rhizyn850 You just used the bible to prove the bible. That is circular reasoning and completely fallacious.
1
Factually incorrect. This is not how our constitution or electoral system works. Firstly she is a senator and was elected proportionally by the voters in the entire state of WA. Your comment shows a lack of understanding of the Australian Electoral system and our parliamentary democracy.
1
A perfectly reasonable comment no hyperbole there at all.
1
Would that be the religion that condones and advocates for slavery.
1
@Jeewee8500 No, not really. Christianity advocates for a theocracy, condones slavery, and has blasphemy laws. All these Christian values are not what modern liberal democracies value. The concept of democracy, freedom of speech, and individual freedom came out of Ancient Greece. Christianity has literally nothing in common with modern secular western democracies.
1
@andrewrose8148 Actually Christianity which advocates for a theocracy, condones slavery and has blasphemy laws is virtually the opposite of modern secular liberal democracy.
1
@kpopandotherplaylists2518 No completely false and you have never read the christian bible or are straight out lieing. In specific details in both Exodus 21 and Leviticus 25:44 your Lord gives explicitly clear instructions on how to enslave people. It is almost comical that you have so little understanding of your faith based teachings. Christianity didn't stop slavery it existed for 1800 years after the beginnings of Christianity. Secular laws made slavery illegal. Christianity didn't have a single thing to do with it.
1
@kpopandotherplaylists2518 Nope wrong again the Christian bible has numerous passages the that advocates for a King like figure to govern on earth as a representative of god. Democracy as a concept is something Greek philosophy come up with hundreds of years before Christianity.
1
@kpopandotherplaylists2518 You just argued that the US constitution was heavily influenced by Christian values. In a way you are correct, the initial US constitution was deeply racist. So yep, I agree with you there. The rest of your comment was utter garbage.
1
@kpopandotherplaylists2518 I can't seriously believe you told someone to read a book. Clearly you have never read the bible, otherwise quote back to me the verses that explicitly endorse slavery.
1
@kpopandotherplaylists2518 Both the christian bible and the Islamic Koran endorse and condone chattel slavery.
1
@albertjoseph9684 what an absurd reply. I mentioned nothing of about Jewish history. I explained in detail the teachings of the Christian bible as any copy currently states. You are being dishonest. The verses in Exodus and Leviticus regarding slavery are commands from god, they are not historical accounts. Again you need to read your bible. Nothing in the New Testament recants or disavows the teachings/commands of the Old Testament in regards to slavery.
1
@albertjoseph9684 What an idiotic attempt to suggest anti semitism on my part. The entire history of humanity is littered with slavery. It is not unique to any culture. It is estimated there are 40 million people currently in slavery worldwide. Your comment suggesting I’m being anti semitic is nonsensical idiocy.
1
@albertjoseph9684 No, you are simply wrong on the facts. Exodus 21:1 The Lord gave Moses the following laws for his people: 2 If you buy a Hebrew slave, he must remain your slave for six years. That's owning people as property or another term is slavery. Exodus then goes on to list how women slaves are even more worse of. Leviticus 25:44 then explains how to get slaves from the nation's around you. You are a pathetic apologist for a hate filled and obnoxious religion that advocates for slavery. I on the other hand observe the secular laws of my country that outlaw slavery. Your arguments are fallacious nonsense, you clearly have never read the christian bible.
1
@albertjoseph9684 No. Factually wrong both Exodus and Leviticus clearly and explicitly command, advocate, and condone slavery. You clearly have never read the Christian bible.
1
@albertjoseph9684 But let's not stop there. So in addition to Exodus 21:2-11 and Leviticus 25: 44-46 we have Eph 6: 5-9, Col 3 22 & 4:1, 1 Tim 6:1-2, Tit 2:9-10, 1 Pet 2: 18-20. Again as you can see slavery in endorses throughout the entire bible.
1
@albertjoseph9684 A fact is a fact. The Christian bible in both the Old and New Testament advocates for slavery. The fact that the vast majority of us now understand that owning people as property is immoral is not a reflection of Jewish culture it is a reflection of the absurdity of claiming an ancient text is the word of god and infallible. It has literally nothing to do with Jewish culture. Virtually all cultures practiced some sort of slavery at some time. Secular laws made it illegal.
1
@albertjoseph9684 A fact is a fact. The Christian bible in both the Old and new testaments advocates for slavery. Owning people as property is immoral, I know that but apparently the Abrahamic god doesn’t.
1
A fact is a fact. In both the old and new Testament slavery is explicitly advocated for and condoned. Owning people as property is immoral. I know that but apparently the Abrahamic god doesn’t.
1
@virus0006 How does the lack of evidence of a god equate to a religious faith?
1
Just a technical point here. Muslims don’t worship Mohammad, they recognise him as a prophet, Muslims worship the same god as Christians, just in a different manner.
1
What ridiculous and stupid commentary.
1
@rickandy1215 Either way your data is way off and your concerns unfounded.
1
@createinmeacleanheartohgod6871 Yeah, sure, even I could see Alistair was taking the piss. Mocking, mocking, always mocking.
