  1. Well as an example, the reason Sth Korea is such an industrial powerhouse is because 51% of the energy sector is government owned and subsidised. This enables cheap electricity to be provided to industry.

The simple fact is the Korean energy sector is majority owned by the government and is subsidised by the taxpayer to reduce the cost of electricity. The Korean government has committed to net zero emissions. It will do this by phasing out fossil fuels and nuclear and having 30% renewables in 2040. Currently its fossil fuels and nuclear energy production is heavily subsidised. This is not opinion is is just fact.
