What an idiotic comment. US unemployment rates have been at historic lows for 18 months. This is just a small increase. How does this stupid commentary get past the producers?

What is your data source for your claim? Thanks.

@wokewokerman5280 What relationship does the GDP growth have to inflation. One is the measure of the size of the economy, the other the increase price of goods and services. Annual GDP growth under Biden has been growing and inflation dropping. Your comment doesn't make sense.
1
@wokewokerman5280 The Reserve increased interest rates to dampen inflation. Nothing to do with Biden.

@wokewokerman5280 The HUD reports there has been no significant increase in homelessness since 2021. Obviously the Covid recession caused a blip in numbers, but again your comment doesn't make sense.
1
@wokewokerman5280 The Reserve sets interest rates, not the government and interest rates increased to dampen inflation.

The average unemployment rate under Trump was 5%.

What is the source of your claim? Thanks

@Dorian_Gray83 Happy to do so. In the last 3 years the US has experienced very strong job growth and record low unemployment. Data provided by the US Department of Commerce. Again what is your data source, please don't tell me it is your gut feeling!

@Leftyintollerable No factually incorrect. Data from the US department of commerce confirms 6 million jobs have been created after the jobs returned to pre Covid levels. Trump was responsible for some of that job growth and Biden the rest. Your comment is completely wrong.
1
@Leftyintollerable Factually incorrect. 5 million jobs above the pre Covid level. Your comment is wrong.

@Jayleewild81 Yes, gas and groceries cost more now than 4 years as they did 4 years before that and 20 years before that. Inflation is now back to only 3% and reducing. Inflation was a worldwide phenomenon caused by the post covid surge. Your argument is illogical nonsense.
1
@aussieearthmoving392 simple fact. The US has 5 million more jobs now than pre pandemic levels. This data is easily accessible from the US department of commerce website. On average Biden has created significantly more jobs than Trump. Just a fact.
1
@Jayleewild Inflation is now 3% and reducing. Prices went up under 4 years of Trump as they are compared to 10 years ago. Inflation was a problem worldwide because of the post Covid surge not just in the US. The US has done better than most to reduce inflation.
1
@Jayleewild Again please what is the source of your claim. I’m not denying inflation only questioning the extent.
