@jkjlane oh know we don't. Quote the exact tariff and a reference to it. You won't be able to. Australia has certain health requirements to import fresh produce. US beef doesn't meet those standards. If it does it is most welcome. Get your facts straight.

@jkjlane Australia imports far more from the US than we export to the US. We send our beef all around the world and guarantee its quality. Protecting that reputation is not a tariff.

@jkjlane Just a nonsensical reply. It's not just the US fresh produce imports we put health regulations its every country in the world. Is as if you are deliberately trying to be ignorant. This allows Australia an ability to absolutely guarantee our fresh produce is totally clean and is why our agricultural products are the envy of the world. Clean you beef up and get the diseases out of your oranges and they are all welcome. Our beef are pasture feed, US beef is almost exclusively feed lot and requires vast quantities of antibiotics. Do some reading and get your facts straight.

No this is falsehood. Australia charges no tariffs whatsoever on US imports. What Trump has done is manipulate the currency differential between the US $ and the AUS $ and called that a tariff. It is dishonest and very clever because it has tricked you.

@JIMDEZWAV According to the independent data, Australia has pretty much the average electricity costs for the OECD and slightly lower than average worldwide costs. We certainly aren't the cheapest, but we are a long way from the most expensive. 5 minutes of research on the internet proves this.
