At 3% nationally you are pissing into the wind anyway. PHON preferences may have some effect on Queensland senate numbers but that’s it.

@Joshdyisdifh I must agree with you there. There is little difference between the moderate Liberal factions and right of centre Labor factions.

@2CJ I think you're missing my point, all 100 votes in your example count individually as important as the total. The deciding vote is no more than important than the first.

@2CJ A ludicrous claim without a shred of evidence. The AEC conducts the administration of the Federal election. It is completely independent body from government. While there have been some cases of electoral fraud in Australia they have been rare and inconsequential. It is totally illogical to suggest in a democracy that if the party or individual you voted for doesn't win then your vote is wasted. You have no interest in democracy you are describing Facism.

I understand the sentiment here. One Nation is essentially a right wing conservative party and the idea that it would preference the progressive Labor party over the conservative Liberals may cost them more than one vote.
