@JohnJ469 Yes you are correct close to half of power generation in Queensland has been privatised. I think if we accept living in a free market capitalist system government ownership of services is a thing of the past. Private ownership can be a good thing. As I understand it at the moment the tax payer is footing the bill for loses in Queensland power.
