Trump signed the withdrawal deal with the Taliban in February last year which had all US troops out by May this year. Just so you understand the Taliban are the enemy. The Biden administration is not blameless in this catastrophe but stupid parochial commentary displayed here is the exact reason why US foreign policy is now the laughing stock of the world.

@The-Cute-One What you're seeing before you with your own eyes is Trumps plan, all Biden did was delay it by 4 months. What are you finding hard to understand about this? Humour me what would have President Trump have got right? or are you suggesting the plan Trump put in place the one being played out now in Afghanistan was so woefully constructed that it was the Biden administrations job to fix it, well then yes I agree with you. You are so wrapped up in your worship of the demagogue Trump you are unable to formulate a coherent comment.

@devilsden2283 I'm sorry but 4% of the worlds population but close to 20% of the global death rate, the US got it very wrong last year in its response to the pandemic. I don't blame Trump personally as he was clearly out of his depth but both Republican and Democrat states got it horribly wrong, and it all happened on President Trumps watch and the Federal government must bear some of the responsibility. Afghanistan is a disaster and Biden should wear his share of the blame. Could you please point out the data that suggests the country is going down the toilet, as the Dow Jones is at a record high, the last quarter has a 6% GDP growth, and the employment numbers were way higher than expected with over a million jobs being created and unemployment back on the way down. Very happy for you to fact check me on this data. The economy under President Trump was doing nicely and that has continued.

Just because he was right in Iran it does not logically follow he was right on Afghanistan and secondly I mentioned nothing about or made an argument for illegal aliens or Covid19. @asdbef3667 your comment contains so many factual errors it is hard to know where to start. You clearly have no understanding of what is "bomb the hell out of them" requires, and if it was so easy why didn't he do it when in power and just win the war. Unbelievably naive. The Taliban invaded nothing its their country it has been a civil war for twenty years, do you have any knowledge of the history of Afghanistan? The only condition was that the Taliban prevent Al-Qaeda operation in the country and have some talks with the Afgan government which the Taliban at this stage appeared to have upheld. Why did you even bother commenting?

@devilsden2283 Read the Trump signed agreement. All US military out by May 2021. All. not some air support remaining. Read the agreement. All US military out by May 2020. The Taliban had to abide by some conditions, no support for Al-Qaeda and they had to have some talks with the Afgan government conditions they have upheld. Trump signed a a deeply flawed crappy deal that he had no idea of the consequences of. I'm not leaving Biden out of the blame for this fiasco, he could have saved the Afgan people from this disaster but chose not to, but your worshiping of your demagogue Trump has completely blinded you to sensible criticism of him.

@devilsden2283 Do you have just one factual comment to make or is your memory 2 minutes long. Trump even reduced the troop level in Afghanistan last year from 16000 to 2500 making it virtually impossible for an orderly withdrawal, and yet you maintain the blame solely on Biden and let Trump off the hook due to your hopelessly parochial view. Bidens performance has been disgraceful, but you need to brush up on the facts with some reading.
