It’s even more annoying than that, the French offered us the SSN Suffern class boats ( which are in the water and have a long range missile capability) and the Turnbull government knocked it back for whatever reasons. Primary they could only be built in France, but as we now know the Morrison government had accepted the first two boats from the AUKUS deal at least won’t be built in Australia anyway.

  2.  @johngeier8692  To be fair Dutton, Morrison, Hastie, Cash, they were all in on the deal to go French SS and then later having wasted $billions changed their minds to a SSN.
