@1lanno Just a simple fact check, and obviously you were taking the piss with your comment which I found quite funny. I used to watch it regularly but don't any longer.

@1lanno It doesn't exist, you have to read/watch many and balance it out yourself.

No. This ruling only pertains to non citizens indefinitely detained without judicial oversight. The cases you refer to, a judge has determined that an individual is not to be released. In the case of these non citizens a public servant, not a judge has determined they be detained indefinitely. That is why it is unconstitutional.

@williamporter2867 Yes, but it can be justified on the grounds some people are still a real threat to society after they have completed their sentence.

Media watch has an audience across the 5 cities of approximately 400,000.

Just a basic understanding of the OzTAM website which is the research company that collates and publishes TV audience data reveals the actual audience numbers for Media watch. In the past some of its shows have had an audience of 800,000 viewers.

Another data point of interest unlike the 8345 views this Skynews article has attracted the “media watch” article referenced in this item attracted 96,000 views on the ABC YouTube channel.

@buildmotosykletist1987 Again I provided data that is common public knowledge and provided a reference to that data. It isn't my problem you are unable to do a simple internet search.

@Braemar1 Many YouTube channels have their comments turned off. You clearly don't understand free speech rights if you think YouTube is a place for free speech. It is regularly censored.

@deanpd3402 I have no issues with your opinion of the content on the ABC. To me, it just seems full of British TV shows. All I did was light heartily fact check with known common publicly accessible data, the actual TV audiences of the TV show in question. Just because some idiothead can't read an OzTAM ratings website isn't my problem.

@deanpd3402 I’ve just been doing a bit of research and looking at random weeks during the past year on the OzTAM site and to my surprise and surely yours MediaWatch is sometimes inside the top 20 watched shows on TV across the 5 cities. The top shows like Married at first sight rate about 900,000, but MediaWatch and Australian Story sometimes make it into the 20. I was surprised.
