You really don’t understand government fiscal policy or economics do you. A country can easily and successfully run deficit budgets and maintain a national debt with absolutely no worries at all, and the vast majority of economists agree. In fact the World bank recommends a 40 to 60% GDP to debt ratio is perfectly acceptable.

@Garmoo5600 The Gillard government legislated the NBN which was one of the largest infrastructure investments in Australian ever.

@Labor Shill Your point about the NBN, is acknowledged and yes you can argue it wasn't required, however my comment was to governments don't invest in Australia which I proved is factually wrong, more evidence would be the Libs investment into Snowy 2.0.
