I thought wokeness or being woke was just being aware of social issues, I don't understand why it has been weaponised by the right to be bad.

@windwolf77 It wasn't me who decided what the dictionary meaning of the word it was the Oxford dictionary. I understand it's not what you understand the word to mean, but your just wrong. If stating a simple fact is something you find offensive and snippy then who is actually being uneducated uncompromising and dogmatic? Also when you start of a comment with an ad hominem attack you have already stepped over into fallacious argument which makes a lot of what you said illogical.

@windwolf77 Clearly that's what you think it means and yes your description of your understanding of the meaning is I agree sounds bad, however I just checked several dictionaries and my understanding of the word is far more accurate than yours. You seemed confused with your understanding of the word. I don't think there is a word to describe all the stuff you have put together.

@ThePurplePianist1 Being aware of social issues is leading us to places none of us want to go. That just seems to be a very shallow narrow world.
