@mattpocka2948 So wilful ignorance it is. That's OK I can understand that. Just be honest about it.

OMG such ignorance is unbelievably. A voice has got absolutely nothing to do with political representation and literally no voting rights are being changed. Are you deliberately being deceptive?

Which is exactly why the should be an indigenous voice to parliament.

@pookeyhutchison7838 Which agency failed and provide the evidence it did?
1
@pookeyhutchison7838 How does a voice to parliament make an indigenous person any more equal than the fossil fuel executives who lobby politicians? Answer it doesn't your argument is illogical nonsense.
1
@pookeyhutchison7838 Just naming a government agency is not proof, you provided zero evidence of anything. Courts are not run by indigenous groups, that is an illogical statement. Child abuse is a tragic and terrible problem for society in general it is not exclusive to indigenous people to suggest otherwise is…………?

@pookeyhutchison7838 lived in Darwin for 9 years. Travelled and visited numerous remote communities. Not that any of that is relevant to my argument. Yeah the old virtue signalling argument, who did you get that from Paul Murray or Peta Credlin? Try something original from your own brain.

@pookeyhutchison7838 Once again expenditure is proof of nothing. I'm not sure what you think the NIAA is meant to achieve but of its 19 objectives in 21/22 It achieved 6 substantially achieved 7 and partially achieved 6. So you are just factually wrong. Where do you get your information Facebook and TikTok?

@pookeyhutchison7838 I have no idea what you think the NIAA responsibilities are, but here is there actual responsibilities The National Indigenous Australians Agency was established by an Executive Order signed by the Governor-General on 29 May 2019. The Executive Order gives the NIAA a number of functions, including: to lead and coordinate Commonwealth policy development, program design and implementation and service delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; to provide advice to the Prime Minister and the Minister for Indigenous Australians on whole-of-government priorities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples; to lead and coordinate the development and implementation of Australia’s Closing the Gap targets in partnership with Indigenous Australians; and to lead Commonwealth activities to promote reconciliation. Also the NIAA has a yearly budget of $47.5 million under the LNP and increased under Labor to $100million. Your $4billion figure is wildly inaccurate much like the rest of your comments.

@pookeyhutchison7838 Tell me of the $45 million allocated to providing four chair dialysis units to remote communities the NIAA will spend over the next six years how many of those 30 units are wasted. Just a round figure will do.

The detail has been out there since the Uluṟu statement. The question and wording of the constitutional change have been out since Albo announced them at the Garma festival last year. You are just being wilfully ignorant.
1
Great one indigenous person. If I quote 10 indigenous people will you change your mind? Obviously not, so citing one indigenous person who is voting no is illogical nonsense as is your opinion.
