  1. Yes because the Chinese government regulates it. We live in a liberal democracy using free market capitalism. You can’t seriously suggest you would prefer to live in China than Australia.

  2.  @DOWNUNDER.  The energy market in China was nationalised in 1949 and has been centrally controlled ever since. Any comparisons with free market Western economies is absurd.

  3. @williamanthony915  As previously pointed out the Chinese energy industry was completely nationalisd in 1949. Despite some reforms it is still centrally controlled. To suggest Government regulation in Australia can be compared to a centrally controlled energy industry is just ridiculous, and of course I would pay no attention to such a ludicrously stupid suggestion.
