Once again for the dummies Humphries’ was not a drag act nor a female impersonator. His Dame Edna character was taking the piss out of the cultural chringe Australian society of the late 50s and into the 60s. It had nothing to do with what he was dressed as. He was not impersonating a woman he was taking the piss out of our culture.

@starrynight1329 There was nothing subtle about Humphries work. He was truely the funniest comedian/performer this country has produced. I was being faithful to Barry in the honesty of my comments. If you took offence then I’m sure Barry wouldn’t of said I don’t give a rats arse.

@alexedwards6509 Yes Right Wing conservative snowflakes find Gadsby's humour/style very confronting. Her incredibly rapier point observations are extremely uncomfortable to right wing conservatives, and so they call her unfunny. They are just snowflakes. Humphries was a genius, but Gadsby is very funny it's just that she hurts snowflakes.
