So you do understand that an advisory body has literally nothing to do with a treaty. They are two completely separate entities. Your comment shows an unbelievable amount of ignorance.

@mikem9001 No, it is you that obviously has zero understanding of our constitution or how parliament works. I don’t give two flying f$&ks what Mayo or Pearson say. The constitution says and the parliament decides what a treaty says. No referendum required, just a treaty signed between indigenous groups and the government. This is already happening at state level. No referendum required. A no vote for constitutional recognition in the up coming referendum in fact may spur on the federal government to treatise with indigenous groups. The Uluṟu statement asked for voice treaty and truth. They are not dependent on each other and the fact you think they are just shows the level of ignorance of the No vote, but thanks for confirming my suspicions.
