  1. No we don’t. The law was in this case enforced. The law, being the 1958 Migration Act in relation to indefinite detention was found to be unconstitutional in a 6 to 1 decision. Thats it, no appeals, end of the matter.

  4. @grannyannie2948  The high court decision. A full bench decision by our high court is irreversible. Protesting can achieve exactly zero. There is no appeal avenue. The indefinite detention element in the Migration Act 1958 was unconstitutional. The Menzies Liberal government should have been more careful when it wrote and legislated it. We are now stuck cleaning up it’s mess.
