And by what logic does that discount the 250 indigenous elders that signed the Uluṟu statement calling for an indigenous voice. This says nothing about advice all it does is confirm your bias.

Your statement is demonstrably false. With just the barest of effort the signatures on the Uluṟu statement include over 100 different indigenous groups. There is no corporate, media, or academic representation. Your statement is an obvious lie.

@Aussie Pom Completely false. No Green party opinion will be part of the VTP it is not allowed by the constitution or by the law. What you are suggesting is impossible. If you mean all indigenous people will have a opportunity to advise government policy then yes you are correct. An advisory body has absolutely no authority to intrude of force their opinion on anyone, and the constitutional amendment explicitly says this. No VTP advice can possibly in any way amend the constitution. You are factually and demonstratively wrong on every single point you raised.

@Aussie Pom So again you are factually wrong and Warren Mundine is lieing. Approximately 12 indigenous members of the Uluru meeting walked out and refused to sign the Uluru statement. The Uluru statement was the culmination of a 9 year process that included discussions and debates with over 6000 indigenous people and included representatives of all indigenous groups. You are entirely misinformed and for reasons only known to you deliberately spreading lies.
