@PetetG You don’t quite understand science or how we gain knowledge do you. As our means of dating ochre samples has improved and our archaeological knowledge has expanded co has our knowledge and understanding of indigenous occupation of Australia. Are you suggesting that because 1200 years ago the church told us the planets and sun revolved around the earth and this was accepted as true, that’s the way it should have remained.

@mikem9001 Factually incorrect. We have DNA evidence from ritual burials from 40000 years. We have archaeological and carbon dating of ochre that dates to 60000 +/- 5000 years from a site in the Kimberley ranges. Our knowledge of the aboriginal inhabitants of Australia is reasonably well known. Why you would suggest it only goes back 1000 years is ignorant claptrap. It is as if you were trying to be stupid.
