  1. Yes I think the point is they are committing to spending money we don’t have knowing they won’t get elected in May and will never get a chance to implement.

  3. This whole announcement is just LNP spin. The ADF Force structure review in 2020 identified the need to expand personal numbers to staff both the increased personal required for 6 additional submarines and their increased size as well as the extra army numbers for a self propelled artillery regiment and additional numbers for logistics and cyber. The real question is why did it take them two years to act.
