@Luum81 The gospels are all written in Konic Greek. They are all written in the second person. None of them claim to be or are eyewitness accounts. There are no respect no eye witness accounts of any alleged Jesus. Even Paul in his letters admits to never meeting the alleged Jesus other than in an hallucination. Despite hundreds of contemporary Roman writings existing to this day not a one mentions a Jesus character. He may of existed, but there is no evidence of such. It is far more likely his character was made up somewhere in the middle to late first century CE by members of the christian sect that was growing in popularity at that time.

@Luum81 Yes I completely agree. The fundamental difference is you have to believe Jesus existed and you have created a narrative around his existence to justify your value system. I on the other require no such faith or belief to justify my value system.

This is comical. Exodus 21 explicitly says the Lord gave Moses the following Laws and then again in Leviticus 25 the Lord gives further rules for obtaining and owning slaves. All very clear and explicit.

@Luum81 Once again not one of those accounts is an eyewitness account. They are all second and third hand accounts written in Greek 50 to 100 years after any alleged life of Jesus. Forgery of biblical icons such as pieces of the wooden cross were prolific during the middle ages. It is laughable to suggest there is more evidence for the alleged Jesus than say some Egyptian Pharaohs whose bobies we have and thier DNA that match's which current living Egyptians.

Nothing like ignorance in quoting biblical text thinking it says what you want it to say when it fact it doesn’t mean that at all. Ecclesiastes 9:13 and on to 10:20 is about wisdom and foolishness. Different translations and wording mean the intent of that quote is not left and right it is about sensible thoughts leading you to do right and foolish thoughts leading you to do wrong. Go read Ecclesiastes 10:13

He may of existed but there is no proof. There are literally hundreds of Roman writings and from the period of his alleged existence and not a single mention, not a one.

Yep fully aware of the historical texts about Jesus none of it evidence of his existence only evidence some people believed he existed. There is no evidence Socrates existed either, so what? I have no requirement to believe he existed to appreciate his teachings. There a thousands of contemporaneous writings in existence of Roman history. When you look into there is absolutely zero evidence of Jesus existence. If you start from the position he did and you have faith then yes of course you can make up anything to justify your beliefs.

Coins were minted with Alexander the great likness on them which makes perfect sense considering his Empire and even if I don't accept this, so what bid deal. Tacitus wrote in the 2nd century CE and was not an eye witness but merely acknowledged a Christian cult existed. There are no contemporaneous accounts of the alleged Jesus. If a god was trying to leave proof of their time on earth they couldn't have been more stupid or inept.

@larryedwards6704 Both these Roman historians describe Christianity neither are eyewitness accounts all were written well after any alleged life of Jesus and Joesphus's account is widely believed to be forged. It is evidence of nothing other than some Roman historians acknowledging a cult existed calling themselves christians.
