  2. Australia possesses vast quantities of onshore and offshore wind and a huge capacity to create electricity from solar, nothing idealogical about it. Wind and solar provide electricity much cheaper than coal and gas, once again nothing idealogical about it. Just commonsense.

  3.  @gjamieson1956  No, factually incorrect. Wind turbines being built now can last 25 years, and everything mechanical needs maintenance and eventual replacement yours is a nonsensical argument. Secondly virtually 100% of a wind turbine is recyclable, there are businesses in the US currently turning old turbines into cement for building construction.
