@RaisinBran-ir4iq Yes this cost has been studied in hundreds of LCOE reports and universally renewables are still significantly cheaper than burning fossil fuels. Net zero has never meant the elimination of fossil fuel use because as you rightly point out oil is needed to lubricant machinery.

@RaisinBran-ir4iq No you are factually incorrect. Both the LAZARDs and Gencost LCOE studies prove conclusively that your personal opinion is totally wrong. Happy for you to reference some data or scientific study that supports your opinion otherwise it is worthless.

@RaisinBran-ir4iq No I have no desire whatsoever to change your opinion (that is fixed despite all the contrary evidence) I simply want to inform you of the ridiculousness of your opinion. You have not referenced any data, scientific papers, or documentation that supports your view. Which is fine,you are entitled to your opinion, it is just factually incorrect or in my words just wrong.
