  1.  @childensstorytime  Yes, that is a fair comment and I totally agree. The Yes vote lost and the No vote won convincingly. All hope of indigenous reconciliation has now been lost. The nation responded to a modest request with a resounding no. We as a nation said we are not interested in listening to indigenous concerns or the indigenous peoples ideas for addressing their disadvantage. Time to move on to more pressing issues like the cost of a coffee a farmer has to pay in Mildura.

  4. Factually incorrect. No where in the referendum question was treaty of truth telling even remotely implied. Did you even read your ballot paper?

  5. @ceciliamay3088  No you are mistaken. The referendum was required because the constitution needed amending for the voice to be included, and the question asked was specific for this. Treaty and truth require neither. Both can still take place. Treaty merely requires a negotiated agreement and truth only needs legislation. The fact you are ignorant of this explains a lot about No voters.
