Doesn’t it concern anyone that Tobacco companies knew their product was a dangerous poison and still knowingly made their product as addictive as possible simply to make a profit.

@stevelozevski8151 I profess no eternal capabilities, but at 63 I am still playing 45/1 football and averaged 64 with the cricket bat last season, but I acknowledge Dougie Walters always had a ciggie in one hand and a can of Tooheys in the other.

@DEPORTER_SUPPORTER Yes they explicitly did. Cigarette manufacturers add ammonia to mask the harshness making the experience smoother and thus more addictive. Ammonia also allows the nicotine to be more rapidly absorbed and intensifys the experience. Sugar is added to increase the taste experience again adding to the addictive nature of nicotine. Aldehydes are added that increases the potency of nicotine which again makes smoking more addictive. The inhaling of all these other chemicals also adds to the cancer producing effects of smoking cigarettes. Tobacco companies but billions of dollars into the research and development of their product. They weren't taking any chances that nicotine was addictive they made certain of it.

@larrylongprong5219 Surely it’s dingo scats

@stevelozevski8151 Apart from Tobacco executives and shareholders like yourself.

@stevelozevski8151 At least I can tell the difference between freely choosing a product and being sold a poisonous addictive drug explicitly designed to be just that. I have no idea what you believe.
2
@stevelozevski8151 You have a strange idea of freedom of choice.

Tobacco kills half its users. 8 million deaths every year. It is so addictive only around 4% of users are able to stop without support. That is not freedom of choice that is stupidity consuming a product that a tobacco advertising executive has told you it is sophisticated.
1
@stevelozevski8151 That’s your argument, that a can of baked beans is as dangerous to your health as a pack of cigarettes. Hold on for five minutes while I pick myself up from the floor laughing hysterically.

@stevelozevski8151 Neither processed foods or sugar is inherently poisonous. Tobacco is. The consumption of sugar in low to moderate amounts provides carbohydrates the body uses as energy. No amount of Tobacco use at all has any health benefit. As to your other point about car pollution and CO2 emissions once again you are the victim of clever marketing. In the mid 90s it was the fossil fuel industry that invented carbon footprint in an attempt to shift the blame from the polluter (the fossil fuel industry) to the consumer. BP led the advertising champaign. It was so successful it completely sucked you in.

@DEPORTER_SUPPORTER Yes I wasn't making any comment about illegal tobacco products only commercially available legal tobacco products. F%^k knows what goes into illegal tobacco.
1
@stevelozevski8151 I made no reference whatsoever to illegal tobacco products.

@stevelozevski8151 Hey steady on there, you could hurt my feelings with all those laughing emjois. Your cutting wit is just too much for me.

@stevelozevski8151 I’m not quite sure if you understand how YouTube comments work or how exchanging comments could possibly trigger anyone, but it’s funny that you think that. Nor do you seem to be able to discern a light hearted quip from a normal discussion point. But those emojis are truely devastating.

@stevelozevski8151 Oh yeah I'm triggered, shit it could be PTSD, or youtube woke disorder, or I might have social media hurt feelings syndrome. You dimwit.
