  1. Nonsensical analysis. It has been the moderate Liberal voters concerned about anthropogenic climate change who have changed their vote not the hard right. PHON and UAP went nowhere so the hard right of the Libs did not desert. So how in any sensible world would turning harder to the right do any good. It’s ridiculous. Also are you even Australian? Federal terms in Oz are 3 years.

  4. If you actually look at the numbers and analyse the results properly it is clear that the hard right of the Liberal/National party votes went nowhere. The really crazy right wing parties votes did not increase they actually went backwards. So where did the conservatives vote go. It has gone to conservatives independents who campaigned on climate change and Greens candidates. So why in any reasonable or sensible analysis would you suggest to go further to the right when your votes went to the left. As you rightly pointed out you are no expert on Oz politics
