This is just straight out misinformation. Virtually all aircraft left were made inoperable, approx 75 serviceable aircraft were flown into Turkmenistan before the Taliban could capture them by the Afgan military, and almost the entire fleet of MRAPS were again made inoperable. I am sure the Taliban will get some of them working, so what. The US left none of its military equipment behind that was not destroyed. There is no doubt vast quantities of small arms and some mortars left for the Afgan military to use that have been captured by the Taliban but again so what. This whole story is just a media beat up.
