You would have to provide evidence of the $48 billion on aboriginal programs annually for that claim to be taken seriously.

O @dalane5196 I have no problem with your estimated figures for the NDIS, healthcare, Medicare and Defence as they were all in the general ballpark, I only took exception with the indigenous funding as it was grossly overstated. Direct indigenous funding straight from the last federal budget was $4.2 billion. You were off almost 1000%, that error on your part needed correcting. I take your general point on government expenditure, I don’t necessarily agree with it, and I didn’t mean to infer your general argument is invalid, I just wanted to insert some fact into, again your legitimate opinion on wasteful government spending.

@dalane5196 No it is an accurate figure from publicly available data. You can live in whatever fantasy world you like. I now withdraw my comment about your statements being honest opinion. As it turns out you are just another RWNJ conspiracy theorist without a clue or grasp on reality.

@dalane5196 I don't believe it. It is a fact. Again this figures is publicly available from the Department of finance and is from the annual budget papers. Again I am happy for you to reference a report/document that supports your claim other than your fantasy led imagination.

@dalane5196 Yes and again you quoted a figure of $48 billion and I proved beyond a shadow of doubt that the federal budget for indigenous people is $4.2billion. You are correct in that I didn't include the various individual state and territory budgets which all combined total less than $150 million annually. I didn't include this spending as percentage wise $150 million compared to $4.2billion is a relatively minor amount. Compared to your ridiculously inaccurate figure of $48billion I deemed it insignificant. So once again you literally haven't got the foggiest idea of indigenous spending and completely refuse to admit you were wrong and can't accept reality. This unfortunately deems any other opinion of your virtually worthless.

@dalane5196 Just another fact check here. States and territories have specialist medical services for aboriginal people because on average indigenous people in Australia suffer significantly worse health outcomes than the average population. Indigenous life expectancy is lower, mortality rates a higher, infant mortality is higher. The reason money is spent on medical services is in an attempt to give Indigenous people a fair go. Something you obviously feel is wasteful, good on you.
