submarines are miniature PWR and lack significant safety measures that wouldn’t be tolerated in a commercial environment. Most importantly though is the technology is secret and will never be shared for commercial use.

@rogermckinnon5738 The US Navy has very strict maintenance program due to the high cost of PWR failure in a submarine. That maintenance program is ludicrously expensive.
