  6. No Factually incorrect. Australia doesn’t rely on the US at all regionally as we are by far the dominant military power. However in relation to nuclear armed countries ie Russia and China yes we rely on the US nuclear umbrella. I’m sure that’s what you meant you just expressed it in a very sloppy manner.

  7. @ I just explained to you that Australia is more than capable of defending itself against every country regionally. If you wish I can list them for you. I then qualified my statement by excluding China and its nuclear weapons. Your reply was completely pointless, clarified nothing, and basically just said back to me what I had told you, so yeah whatever!

  8. @grantsapain  Just strawman after strawman. It is just nonsensical idiocy to consider just one threat and strategically immature thinking. For a population our size the current expansion of our navy is sufficient. You obviously can see out no further than your nose. Defending Australia is a complex mix of international diplomacy and affordable military hardware. In a conventional war China is not capable of a successful invasion of Australia. Not even the Japs thought they could do it.
