Lang Hancock is on the public record only 40 years ago making overt racist comments. If I was Aboriginal I would not what to be associated with his name.

I am perfectly happy defending my secular liberal social democratic values and its ancient Greek origins any day. However the indigenous community has a legitimate grip about how we colonised Australia and lack of representation when it came to Federation and the constitution. Indigenous sports people suffer racism to this day. I'd like to try and make the place a little better.

@maifantasia3650 Generally sport has a positive effect on people through exercise and team building, also people like watching elite sport. Just because there are some negatives doesn't mean you throw out the baby with the bathwater.
