@ThatGuy-ze5kk Nope, factually wrong. Bucket loads of empirical evidence.

And that’s fine, but the overwhelming data and evidence shows burning that gas is adversely effecting the atmosphere.

@ThatGuy-ze5kk When fossil fuels are burned, they release large amounts of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, into the air. Greenhouse gases trap heat in our atmosphere, causing global warming. Already the average global temperature has increased by 1C. Warming above 1.5°C risks further sea level rise, extreme weather, biodiversity loss and species extinction, as well as food scarcity, worsening health and poverty for millions of people worldwide. The increase in temperature and the increase in CO2 is physically observable.

@ThatGuy-ze5kk OMG a British scientist worked this out in the mid 19th century. Physicist John Tyndall discovered the greenhouse effect in a series of experiments in 1859, that's a 165 years ago.

So we have known since 1859 exactly how greenhouse gases work and exactly how they can affect the atmosphere.

@ThatGuy-ze5kk I doubt it has anything to do with facts more likely algorithms that I certainly fail to understand. I posted a lengthy reply to your comment and referenced the known science about greenhouse gases and YouTube deleted it. Go figure.

@ThatGuy-ze5kk It’s annoying as well, because clearly we disagree but our discussion was civil and neither of us had indulged in any personal slurs.

@sidecarmisanthrope5927 Correct, and if you understood the science you would know it is not persistent, ie it quickly dissipates. CO2 is persistent and remains in the atmosphere for several hundred years. Water vapour lasts for a matter of days.
