  1. Factually incorrect, all CO2 is eventually absorbed. It may take thousands of years but it happens.

  2.  @RogueElementMkIII  While it is undeniable that CO2 in the atmosphere is still increasing, for the 2 years of the clean air act under the Gillard government CO2 emissions in Australia were reduced by 9%. There was little to no effect on inflation or electricity prices. In fact 12 months after Abbott rescinded the legislation electricity prices were higher under Abbott than they had been under Gillard. So it may be possible.
