@coconuciferanuts339 I’m all in favour of decency, humanity, mutual respect and co-existence, but I don’t see these as purely Australian values. The commentator in the news clip called for the government to uphold Australian values. It is these specifically Australian values I’m particularly interested in defining.

@coconuciferanuts339 I have no issues with mutal respect as a value, but many countries and cultures around the world also have this as a value so I don't see this as uniquely Australian. As well as evidenced during the debates/discussions around the voice and currently with the hostilities in the Middle East I see little sign of mutual respect. Hence again my genuine request for a example of substantive Australian value that is actually evidenced in our culture.
