  1. Just a fact-check here. The AMEO estimates new transmission infrastructure will cost $12.7 billion. A 1000Mw reactor costs on average $8 billion. Seeing as the Libs are going to build 7 already your costings are well in favour of renewables. There is nothing cheap about nuclear power either. Numerous LCOE studies all find renewables significantly cheaper than nuclear per MWh. We already have a sovereign wealth fund it is called the Future Fund, it has a few offshoots, but its investments have been returning better dividends than gold. It currently has a balance of $290billion.
