This is mindless analysis. Sheridan has little if any understanding of how our military is structured and his comments are just wrong.

@douglasnakamura6753 First up he is completely fixated on combat or battle with Chinese forces. You don't structure a defence force around one possible foe. Next armoured vehicles have proven their worth in every theatre and type of warfare since 1916. The drones he talks of can be effective but are extremely short range. How does he propose they get to the south China Sea?

@douglasnakamura6753 No what he is saying in total is senseless except maybe the bit about acquiring tomahawk missiles. Not sure how many hobbyco drones it takes to lift a tomahawk missile but I'm sure Greg's knows.

@douglasnakamura6753 The ADF is, has been, and is fully conversate with asymmetric warfare for years. It is taught at AFDA to our young officers, there are numerous joint study papers published that have been led by the CDF and VCDF. We know how to defend against it and how as a concept to use it offensive and idiot head Sheridan telling us to do something we already doing is just because he likes the sound of his own voice.

C'mon seriously, they are helping deliver food parcels, not a single soldier is armed or even wearing body armour. They have no more power than a civilian.
