  2. So you are perfectly happy with first past the post, even though this means that in electorates with say half a dozen candidates someone might get elected with less than 20% of the vote. Fair enough then.

  3. @user-du8yc2zw2q  You clearly don't understand preferential voting. The government doesn't get the preference whomever you fill on your ballot paper gets the preference. Haven't you ever noticed you have to number your ballot paper?

  4. @user-du8yc2zw2q  No. All parties do preference deals, but that only works if the voter doesn't write in their preference. If you vote Liberal and preference the Nats, then that's where your vote goes.
