@m2001w This is a complete misunderstanding of the Mabo ruling native title legislation, subsequent Wik ruling and Howard government legislation. Nobody is required or legally obligated to hand over any private property. It can’t happen period.

This figure is deliberately deceptive. It includes public health, Medicare, public housing funding which is part of the overall public spending. Actually cite the source for this figure.

5.7 billion of that is spent on defence, foreign affairs and industry assistance. None of which specifically advantages indigenous people any more than any Australian.

Only 5.6 billion of that 30 billion is actually at targeted indigenous programs or 18.6%. The rest is due to the extra costs in remote education, health, unemployment. All you have done is parrot a Warren Mundine claim about a 2014 productivity commission report without reading the report or analysing it for yourself. Just laziness.

Only 5.6 billion is direct payments or targeted at specific indigenous programs. The rest is Medicare payments or job seeker payments or education costs, all of which are significantly higher in remote locations. This is all explained in the productivity commission report. Read the report.
