@bryanp4827 On insiders this morning one of the journos commented that the Libs had internal party polling clearly saying the the public are not blaming the government for inflation. It just wasn’t a factor in this by election.

@thomasgrabkowski8283 Yes you are correct the relentless scaremongering from Abbott was politically successful. He then ran the most dysfunctional government in 50 years. Read “ A road to ruin” In his short time as PM before his own party kicked him out his only achievements were a free trade deal with China (didn’t work out so well) and a knighthood for Prince Phillip. We are all still rolling around the floor in hysterics over that one. Oh and he turned a safe Liberal seat into a safe Independent seat.
