  2. This analysis is naive in the extreme. Dutton and Morrison were at the same cabinet table that made the original decision, it is disingenuous to the extreme to suggest that Turnbull and Pyne made the decision alone, it was a cabinet decision. Murray and McGregor are both more invested in attempting to hide the culpability of the current government in the clusterfuck that is the procurement of a strategic weapons system. It is also stupidity of the highest form to suggest it is now all about warfare now, when we won't have our own boat in the water for 20 years. Leasing is an option but they will be clapped out ex Trafalgar class or if we are lucky some of the late block Los Angeles class the US is retiring. Both Murray and McGregor are more interested in letting the atrocities committed in Afghanistan slide rather than Campbell and Burr who have shown the guts to face and fix this aberration.
