  3. All you are compelled to do is have your name crossed off the electoral roll. You are under no compulsion to vote. Just take your ballot paper to the box folded up and leave it blank. Then go outside enjoy a democracy sausage and purchase some homemade jam or a cake from the charity stall, and ponder what a dick I am.

  6. It is legislated. If you are a registered voter and you don’t have your name crossed off on the electoral roll at a polling both you will incur a small fine. You can apply for an exemption of just turn up get your name crossed off and then donkey vote. The choice is yours we live in a democracy. Our constitution guarantees you a vote.
