it’s a 14th century forgery. This has been proven scientific is numerous independent experiments. In fact the first mention of it in the historical record is from a priest who declared it a forgery. Wake up people.

Yeah nah, it’s a 14th century forgery. The X-ray experiment is unproven technology and its research has not been repeated in any other experiments. Three separate independent teams dated the cloth to the mid 14th century. Not even the church considers it authentic.

@Skitt0407 No they haven't. The dating you refer to was an unproven technique not replicated by independent means by a scientist who insists he had a revelation while viewing the Shroud and as well his previous attempts to age the Shroud at 2000 years were completely debunked. So much so that his work was retracted. Once again the overwhelming historical and scientific evidence is that it is a forgery.

No they haven’t. The recent ratings are an unproven method.

I was in ICU for two weeks after a car accident. I was visited by the Virgin Mary, our Lady of Fatima and the tree little kids and then finally by Jesus Christ himself. When I told the nurse this they immediately took me off the intravenous pain killers I was on. Lesson learnt.

@Skitt0407 Suggestion isn’t scientific evidence. The experiment carried out over two years ago using X rays is an unproven method and has shown to have significant failings. Its results have not been reproduced. On the other hand three separate teams using separate pieces using a mixture of techniques all working independently dated the Shroud to the mid 14th century. You are wrong it is a forgery made at a time when forging religious artefacts was a common occurrence.

@tw2107-s7i The image has been replicated using techniques artists have used for hundreds of years.
