Here are 8 independent polls showing Harris ahead. 1. Real clear politics poll 2. Race to the WH poll 3. decision desk. HQ/ the hill poll 4. 538 poll 5. Silver bulletin poll 6. Morning consult poll 7. CBS news/yougov poll 8. Civics/Daily cos poll Your comment would make sense except all these polls showed Trump easily beating Biden only 4 weeks ago. There has been a change. Just the facts.

@6097-d1k Thankyou for giving me this opportunity for a fact check. Yes you are correct and the national polls were 100% correct in 2016 in that Clinton easily won the popular vote. What Trump succeeded in doing was winning by very narrow margins in the 6 battleground states. Unfortunately for you and Trump, Harris is not only leading nationally by 1.5 points she is also ahead in four of those battleground states. Trump may very well still win, but it is going to be very close. Sorry just the facts as the polls are showing as of today. It may very well change next week.

In 2016 the polls had Clinton well ahead nationally and exactly as predicted Clinton won the popular vote. Trump won the Electoral college by narrow margins in the battleground states.

@yanyan7374 The same polls that now have Harris slightly ahead of Trump, had Trump well ahead of Biden only 4 weeks ago. There has clearly been a change in voter sentiment. The question is will it continue. Either way it will be a close election and the results in the 6 battleground states will decide who is President. Currently the polls have Harris and Trump with nothing between them in those battleground states.

This election will be very close.
